Manu Andes 4 Days / 3 Nights

(Departures – Wednesdays)

We leave Cuzco very early in the morning. During the first day we go to the cloud forest passing by several inter-Andean valleys, local communities and beautiful towns. We will also go over the Acjanacu pass (3850 meters above sea level) where we will go down towards Manu, going through different ecological zones until we get to Albergue Paradise where we will spend the first night.

The next morning we will start a trek to look for the Cock of the Rocks so we can see its mating ritual. Later we will continue our journey to the Atalaya port, where we will board our boat towards the camping beach.

The third day we will start walking before breakfast until we get to a collpa, which is a mineral deposit where different kinds of parrots and macaws gather to delight us with their beautiful colors. We will continue our journey towards Boca Manu to spend a night in a comfortable lodge. Night walks are optional.

In the morning we will go to the Boca Manu aerodrome where we will get on an aircraft towards Cuzco.
